“Jamie Moriarty. Hi. …Jamie? From the hospital? Did I really leave such a fleeting impression? Well, that was rather the point.”

I love MorMor.
Yet another thing that needs more notes because yes.

"And honey you should see me in a crown."
God, it had been one of those days. The ones where you start off perfectly fine, then suddenly everything is great, and then everything goes to hell. One of those. A potential client had stormed out, knockingeverythingover, scattering files and sending her desk toppling. She’d done her best to get it all back in order, and to hide the stress it had caused from Jim and Seb. Fay stayed late, long after the other two had gone home. When she’d finally managed to sort it all out, her head was aching, and she barely made it into a cab.
“Conduit Street, please.” The young woman had barely taken notice of the journey home, dazedly paying the cabbie, and shuffling up the steps to the door. Unlocking it and stepping through, she slipped off the coat she didn’t remember donning, and hangs it up.
She finds the two of them sitting together on the couch, watching some mindless program that is much too loud for her at the moment. Neither seems to have noticed her return, though in her state, Fayte doesn’t much care. Rather than announce her return, she circles around to the front and slips herself in the sliver of space between them, burying her face in their shoulders.
“Welcome home, babydoll.”
“You alright, babe?”
She can’t quite manage words, so she just wraps her arms around their necks, just hugging them. Seb kisses her forehead and Jim twists the two of them around, pulling her into his lap.
